Holiday home for any season for extended families with disabled people.

The accommodation owner, an Italian, a "Swedish master", grateful to his dear Sweden for the hospitality received during the darkest years of his life, reserves exclusively for Swedish citizens or for people who speak the same language, stay in “Villa Flora”. In memory of two Swedish persons, who are very dear to his heart but no longer alive, he dedicates a week of totally free stay, to the first family who will be hosted.

Stefano Russo “Swedish Master”
founder and manager of holiday home

Dear family!
We invite you to leaf through this website, in order to learn about main ideas, purpose, organization,
location, prices, forms of payment, booking and other information necessary for your stay in “Villa Flora”.

The founder of "Villa Flora"

invites large families with members suffering from diseases causing mobility problems, and families with members of advanced age; because of disability of some family members, and for various reasons both logistical and economic, they often have difficulty to find a place to spend holidays. Villa Flora is very spacious and offers to these families an apartment 250 m2 on the ground floor as a "holiday home". The building has no architectural barriers, the furnishings with some elements of Scandinavian style offer the possibility of a comfortable stay in any season. The villa is surrounded by a large garden with beautiful bright-red flowers, the marvellous colourful geraniums give joy and gladness among the greenery of the pergola. Chirp of our "inseparable" parrots in the aviary makes you forget the problems you have to resolve in everyday life. If you love meditation and you are looking for inspiration far from a big city, a lush winter garden invites you to feel power and harmony in absolute serenity, in company with a friendly "Sun Conure" who is waiting for your caresses or some sweets.

The building has no architectural barriers, the furnishings with some elements of Scandinavian style offer the possibility of a comfortable stay in any season. If your elderly relatives don't want to go out, but prefer to stay indoors and spend their time cooking the dishes to their liking, they can do it in a comfortable and spacious kitchen, using a big cookery book in Swedish. So, the young members of the family can have opportunity to go to the seaside, to the mountains or to the city, and to be sure that they will find a table served in the gazebo, taste the dishes prepared by their elderly relatives and taste the "local wine”, offered daily and free of charge by the owner. For disabled people with mobility problems, who want to go out on short excursions, to discover the surrounding landscape between the sea and the mountains, we offer electric scooters at no extra charge. "Villa Flora" is at the first phase of an experimental project, partially with humanitarian “flavour”, if it is well received by Swedish citizens (or people who speak their language), it will be improved and expanded, and therefore the content of this website may be changed in its economic and structural aspects, but not in its substance and ideology. NB! The proceeds obtained from rents will be used to improve the quality and for realization of the project in accordance with needs of disabled, elderly people, and their relatives.
